Sidney

Silver Hill Sidney hails from Charlotte Bronte country, in West Yorkshire. He is small, neat, and well-mannered. He has a good horn angle and a nice face.

His sire is the prolific Stanley, who stood at four or five flocks producing more than twenty registered offspring. Sidney's dam lines are Danaway and AJ on the sire side, and Potterscross and Cammall (exclusively black) on the dam side. The brown genes are from direct from sire Stanley and indirect from Samson via Zak and AJ Ivan of Dundraw on the dam's sire line.

Sidney's small size will be a driver of the future height of the flock, and his brown gene will perpetuate the brown and faded black that feature in our mob. Currently a ram lamb, he is growing on.
